SCREENING MEDICAL CLINIC

Barnstable County Bridge Care is a volunteer organization that provides interim medical care to those facing obstacles in accessing conventional healthcare. The organization offers solutions to health concerns while patients await continuous care, bridging the gap until they can see a primary care provider. Services generally include advice, counseling, and medication prescribing to restore physical health. There are no fees or charges for these services
SERVICES PROVIDED BY SCREENING MEDICAL CLINIC
We provide interim medical care while patients await long-term solutions. Our services are available on a walk-in basis during scheduled clinic hours, and no prior appointment or insurance verification is required. Patients can visit our clinic locations directly to receive assistance from our volunteer healthcare professionals. Our services include:
Acute Medical Care – Treating common health concerns without requiring extensive testing
Prescription Assistance – Helping patients access essential medications
Work & School Physicals – Providing medical clearance for those needing timely appointments
WHO WE ARE
Bridge Care was founded by Dr. Kevin Bresnahan, an emergency physician with more than 25 years of experience. Bridge Care offers free medical services to low-income populations, homeless people, immigrants and individuals without health insurance.
Our volunteer health professionals provide temporary care, allowing patients to improve their health while they wait to ensure long-term primary primary care. Insurance is not required.

• 125 chronic illness prescriptions.
• 75 work clearances.
• 20 life-saving emergent condition detections.
